Metal wire-work has been a steady feature of household objects for centuries: with this basket, Alessi's technological research on folded metal wire, Alessi began a family of containers for table and kitchen with a very basic approach that is still highly successful today.
Round wire basket in 18/10 stainless steel with plate in thermoplastic resin.

Pauline Deltour (born in 1983, Landerneau, France). Studied applied art and design at the Olivier de Serres in Paris and holds a bachelors degree in industrial design from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. Between 2006-2009, worked as a designer at Konstantin Grcic Industrial Design in Munich and as of winter 2009 running her own design studio in Munich, Germany.
